. | Barrel the Gnome lives in the southern states of America, and he is a garden gnome. Unlike most garden gnomes who sit around with fishing poles looking decorative, Barrel eats people. He hides amongst his mistresses beautiful beds of impatiens and, when an unwary mailman steps off the path, Barrel grabs him and gobbles him up in a flash. He only eats the tender bits, and leaves the bones as fertilizer. When passers-by compliment Barrrel's mistress on her beautiful flowers she cackles in her usual slightly crazed way, and hisses something about having 'green fingers'. And its true. If you look carefully amongst the lovely blooms you can always find a few fingers turning green...and toes...and the occassional shin-bone too.. |
